Timely assistance

The patient who was on TB treatment at one of Yerevan’s Polyclinics had not taken any medication for a week and had poisoning as consumed a toxic amount of alcohol . Community based monitoring specialists got such information simultaneously from TB Cabinet doctor and patient’s mother. During home visit CBM team found out the patient in a toxic state.  CBM team decided immediately transport him to a multi-profile hospital by ambulance. Treatment access of TB co-infections in RA

On November 28th of 2019 at NTC of RA was organized meeting with 23 TB patients who were on stationary and ambulatory treatment at that moment. Vital intervention

The CBM specialists had been acquainted and touched with the patient who was diagnosed with spinal TB while he was on stationary treatment. During the ambulatory treatment phase NGO specialists also were in touch with the bedside patient and provided assistance to him and his family. 1st meeting with Standing Committee

1st meeting with the PPAN NGO representative and Head of Standing Committee on Health Care and Social Affairs of RA was on 26th of September during the coaching visit of TB Rep 2. Meeting Letter to Standing Committee was prepared and sent in August. At the mentioned date Technical Assistance Visit to National Assembly of RA initiated by TB Europe Coalition and PAS center was arranged as well. Do not interrupt the treatment

The community based monitoring specialists of PPAN NGO with the guidance and encouragement of regional TB cabinet doctor met with 2 brothers who were diagnosed with TB. At the meeting time the brothers had already overcome the stationary part of the treatment. Brothers treatment was performed against MDR TB (BK+). Zooming the problems of TB patients

On September 20th of 2019 at NTC of RA was organized meeting with 24 TB patients who at that moment were on stationary and ambulatory treatment. Patients from different regions of Armenia were also present at the meeting in order to find solutions to problems encountered during treatment. Untimely check out of TB patient

Patient who was in oxygen therapy and had TB BK+ diagnose was checked out from NTC. NGO employees met with the acting director of NTC and tried to find out the reason once get information about the case. It turned out that the problem was smoking in hospital.
