On September 20th of 2019 at NTC of RA was organized meeting with 24 TB patients who at that moment were on stationary and ambulatory treatment. Patients from different regions of Armenia were also present at the meeting in order to find solutions to problems encountered during treatment. During the meeting was discussed the importance of switching from stationary treatment to ambulatory, maintained continuity of treatment and the irreversible consequences of interruptions. Patients were also informed about the terms of bank card issuance and money transfer. The card-related topic is more problematic when patient’s moving from stationary treatment course to ambulatory. During the dialogue it became clear that there were patients in ambulatory treatment who had not yet received a card or had a card but money had not been transferred for months. Patients were also informed about their rights, opportunities and disability status during treatment. Some patients wanted to have separate dialog with NGO representatives about opportunities of receiving free medicine against TB drugs side effects and discontinue treatment case due to hepatitis C.

P.S.

Immediately, after the meeting, the patients’ card issues were discussed with the Accounting department of NTC and some were given solutions.
