1st meeting with Standing Committee

1st meeting with the PPAN NGO representative and Head of Standing Committee on Health Care and Social Affairs of RA was on 26th of September during the coaching visit of TB Rep 2. Meeting Letter to Standing Committee was prepared and sent in August. Do not interrupt the treatment

The community based monitoring specialists of PPAN NGO with the guidance and encouragement of regional TB cabinet doctor met with 2 brothers who were diagnosed with TB. At the meeting time the brothers had already overcome the stationary part of the treatment. Brothers treatment was performed against MDR TB (BK+). Zooming the problems of TB patients

On September 20th of 2019 at NTC of RA was organized meeting with 24 TB patients who at that moment were on stationary and ambulatory treatment. Patients from different regions of Armenia were also present at the meeting in order to find solutions to problems encountered during treatment. Untimely check out of TB patient

Patient who was in oxygen therapy and had TB BK+ diagnose was checked out from NTC. NGO employees met with the acting director of NTC and tried to find out the reason once get information about the case. It turned out that the problem was smoking in hospital. Ahead of CCM elections

On 5th of August of 2019 on the initiative of ‘’Positive People Armenian Network’’ NGO held a meeting with TB patients and former patients at the National Center for TB of RA. Signing of a Memorandum of Understanding

In June 2019 has been launched ‘’ TB out of barriers’’ project.  Prerequisite for the implementation of the project was signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between ‘’ Positive People Armenian Network’’ NGO and the National Center for Tuberculosis of RA (NTC). The document was signed based on registered positive experience of cooperation of those institutions within past years. Capacity-building workshop for TB patients

On December 21, 2018 the 6th final meeting with TB patients was held at the PPAN NGO. The quantity of the meetings was connected with working plan of ‘’Changes are possible. Act now’’ project.
